Once Upon Adventures offers interactive ‘learning through adventure’ experiences for kids ages 5-11.

Designed by mothers and educators, the program includes popular adventure themes that engage and delight young fans!

The idea for Once Upon Adventures came to founder Katrina Tarpy one night when she dreamt about a “mystery adventure camp”!

Inspired by her own experiences across four continents, Katrina set out to create an experiential program that challenges learners through Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math, with a twist of mystery and the element of surprise!

Her talented former colleagues and curriculum specialists, Lorien Rowland, Amy Knapp and Maple Jackson joined the mission! Together they developed customized adventure experiences designed for 21st century learners, blending education and imagination!

Once Upon Adventures is now operating out of Bellevue Children’s Academy.
